FAQ

  • Is there a required textbook?

Yes! Be sure to purchase or borrow a copy of Karen Keen's book Scripture, Ethics, and the Possibility of Same-Sex Relationships (Eerdmans, 2018). This book is available from most book outlets (Amazon, Barnes and Nobles etc), including in e-book format. You will find this book to be an essential supplement to the video course lectures and other readings. All other material is provided by the instructor.

  • How long do I have access to the class?

You have access for an entire year! So, don't worry, you have plenty of time to pace yourself. The recommended time frame is 12 weeks (for the average working person). But those who are ambitious learners with extra time might choose to complete the course over 6 weeks. Go at whatever pace works best for you. You have a year!

  • What if I have questions about the content during the course?

Check the course syllabus for quarterly live group calls where you can ask Karen any question you want about the content. If you desire extra one-on-one tutoring, Karen also has a limited number of slots available for an hourly fee.

  • My church group wants to take the class together, is that possible?

Taking this class with others is a great way to process the material. Each group member will need to sign-up for the class. Send this registration page to your group and ask them to register. Then decide when and where your group will meet each week.
